Seeing Sound

This is an interesting NPR post on how to visualize sound. Anyone who has worked in a Deaf school knows that children who are Deaf do have a robust idea of what sound is and how it works, even if the “sonic culture” of the Deaf community is quite different than the hearing community. This video adds to the ways we can understand sound, and seems like it would be useful for science teachers working in a Deaf or mainstream classroom.
